About Our Church

A Church Walking by Faith, Known by Love, and a Voice of Hope

What we aim for

We aim to help connect people to faith

Our goal is to establish branches across the Free State and beyond, reaching more souls, empowering more families, and transforming our communities with the Gospel. We believe we are laying a foundation for an eternal impact — one soul, one family, one area at a time.

“We strive to be a church that lives by faith, is known by love, and is a voice of hope to the world.”

Mission & Purpose

Walk By Faith Fellowship Church is a Christ-centered, Spirit-led ministry based in F Section, Botshabelo, Free State. Founded in February 2025, the church is under the dynamic leadership of Pastor William Maroele and his wife, Mrs. Maroele, both passionate servants of God dedicated to raising a generation of faith-filled believers.

We are a Bible-believing, independent Christian community committed to “walking by faith and not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7). Our mission is to glorify God, make disciples, and bring lasting transformation to individuals and families through the power of the Gospel.

As a growing ministry, we are actively preparing to expand into other areas of the Free State, with the vision of reaching every section with the love and truth of Jesus Christ. Wherever God leads us, we aim to remain rooted in His Word, guided by the Holy Spirit, and faithful to our calling.

We recognize Jesus Christ as the Head of the Church and the Holy Scriptures as our final authority in all matters. Governed by the Holy Spirit and biblically qualified leadership, our church is a safe place for spiritual growth, healing, and equipping for Kingdom work.

Our Beliefs & Values

At Walk By Faith Fellowship Church, our faith is grounded in the Holy Scriptures and our walk is led by the Holy Spirit. We hold firm to the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith and strive to reflect the character of Christ in everything we do.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7

📖 The Bible

We believe the Bible (Old and New Testaments) is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our final standard in all matters of life, doctrine, and decision-making.
(2 Timothy 3:16–17)

👑 The Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit — co-equal and co-eternal.
(Matthew 28:19)

🙌 Salvation

We believe that salvation is a free gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not earned by works, but offered to all who repent and believe in the finished work of Christ.
(Ephesians 2:8–9)

💧 Baptism

We believe in baptism by full immersion as a public declaration of one’s faith and identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
(Matthew 3:16, Romans 6:4)

🍞 The Lord’s Supper

We observe Holy Communion as a sacred act of remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, and a celebration of our unity as the Body of Christ.
(1 Corinthians 11:23–26)

✨ The Second Coming

We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, who will come again to reign in glory and bring all things into divine order.
(1 Thessalonians 4:16–17)

🔹 Our Core Values

🕊️ Faith

We are a church that walks by faith, not by what we see or feel. We trust in God’s promises even when the road is uncertain. Faith fuels our prayers, our giving, our worship, and our outreach.

❤️ Love

We are known by love — love for God, love for each other, and love for our community. We believe true discipleship is marked by sacrificial love and unity in Christ.

📖 Biblical Integrity

We strive to live according to God’s Word and maintain doctrinal purity, ensuring all we teach and practice aligns with Scripture.

(From Constitution Article 3.1 and Preamble)

👥 Community & Fellowship

We believe in the power of gathering, fellowship, and authentic relationships. The Church is a spiritual family where no one walks alone.

🙏 Worship

Worship is not just a song — it’s a lifestyle. We value sincere, Spirit-filled worship that honors God and brings people into His presence.

🧱 Discipleship

We are committed to making disciples, not just converts. Through Bible study, mentorship, and teaching, we grow stronger in Christ together.

👐 Service

We believe in serving with excellence — in the church and beyond. Through ministries like our Soup Kitchen and Faith Music School, we meet both spiritual and physical needs.

🔥 Holiness

We are called to live set-apart lives that reflect the holiness of God. We promote clean living, spiritual maturity, and accountability to one another.

(Romans 12:1, 1 Timothy 4:12)

🌍 Evangelism

We are passionate about the lost. Through street ministry, missions, and outreach, we aim to bring the light of Jesus to every corner of Botshabelo and beyond.

“We affirm our commitment to maintaining biblical integrity, doctrinal purity, and Christ-centered governance, ensuring that all activities, leadership, and decision-making align with the Holy Scriptures.”
